Blue Circle Health is a nonprofit organization redefining care for adults living with type 1 diabetes in the United States. Founded in 2021, it was created to close gaps that leave many adults without consistent specialty care, education, or support. All services are free, and the organization does not bill insurance, reducing financial barriers to care.

The program offers endocrinology care, diabetes education from registered dietitians and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCES), insurance navigation, case management, peer support, and diabetes-focused counseling. Eligible participants may also receive financial assistance for medications and supplies, along with 90-day access to continuous glucose monitors if they lack coverage.

Blue Circle Health serves adults 18 and older in 20 states and Washington, D.C., with online enrollment and personalized support through a dedicated peer guide.

In this episode, we speak with Monica Gomberg and Sherry Roberts about how many patients Blue Circle Health has helped to date, the measurable impact the program is having, and how it aims to help type 1 diabetes care across the U.S.
