MiniMed invited me to its headquarters in Northridge, CA to celebrate its next chapter in diabetes care after separating from its parent company, Medtronic. The event involved a speech given by the company’s CEO, Que Dallara, and a demo of the new insulin pump, MiniMed Flex, by its Chief Product and Technology Officer Ali Dianaty.

Through that demo, I learned a bunch of details on what we can expect at launch for the pump and I’m going to get into all the details I learned here.
