Insulet, the company that produces the Omnipod 5 tubeless pump, has announced a new partnership with Calm to bring mindfulness and well-being tools to the diabetes community. The companies have launched "The Mind in Range Collection," a set of free mindfulness resources for people with diabetes, their caregivers, and clinicians. The collection includes short guided meditations, a calming breathing practice, and a new Calm Sleep Story narrated by fashion model and Omnipod user Lila Moss, all available through Calm's app and website.
The partnership was shaped by a global survey from Insulet with over 9600 participants. The survey responses show that 66% of people with diabetes and 46% of caregivers report poor sleep due to diabetes-related stress, while 62% of those with type 1 diabetes and 60% with type 2 say they want mindfulness and mental health resources. Insulet frames the effort as part of a broader push toward whole-person care, aiming to ease mental load and improve quality of life for people managing diabetes.
The content is rolling out globally at no cost. Visit omnipod.com/calm to listen to the free meditations, breathing exercise, and sleep story.
