Hey my Diabetechies! Today I want to tell you more about our amazing collaborator and sponsor, T1D Exchange. This nonprofit is committed to bettering the lives of people with type 1 diabetes and their work is so important to me. From connecting people with research studies to compiling real-world data from thousands of people with T1D, their work helps inform physicians, researchers, and legislation to push meaningful change. Here are some of their exciting opportunities going on!

Inside T1D Exchange’s Mission to Improve Type 1

T1D Exchange Interview

At ADA Scientific Sessions I interviewed T1D’s Exchange's CEO, and VP of Real-World Evidence & Research, to learn more about their work’s impact on type 1. T1D Exchange has created a collaborative network, connecting over 65 endocrinology centers across the U.S. so they can crowd source data. They’re advocating for diabetes screenings and helping promote research for women's health. Learn about the important work they’re doing in my latest interview.

Improving Care Through Shared Learning

The T1D Exchange Quality Improvement Collaborative (T1DX-QI) shares de-identified data that becomes shared evidence across the network to help care centers identify opportunities for improvement and take action. The network is made up of 65+ endocrinology centers around the U.S that care for over 100,000 people with T1D. This collective insight helps centers to set goals, test and refine approaches, and track progress toward better care.
