Tandem Mobi is officially expanding beyond the U.S., with Tandem Diabetes Care announcing that its automated insulin delivery (AID) system is now available in 12 international markets. The company is taking orders and shipping Mobi to eligible customers in Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Tandem says the expansion is part of its strategy to make its durable insulin pump portfolio available to more people around the world.

Tandem Mobi is less than half the size of the t:slim X2 and can be worn on the body, clipped to clothing, or placed in a pocket. It uses Control-IQ+ technology with compatible sensors to predict glucose levels 30 minutes ahead and automatically adjust insulin delivery every five minutes. Mobi also offers full control through a compatible iPhone, a 200-unit cartridge, multiple infusion-set options, Sleep and Exercise Activity settings, and an AutoBolus feature.

Tandem is already looking beyond the current Mobi system. Android compatibility is expected to launch in select international markets in 2027. And the company’s broader pipeline includes a tubeless version of Mobi and a fully closed-loop algorithm. Tubeless Mobi is with the FDA and is expected to be commercially available in the U.S. in 2027.
