Glooko announced this week that its diabetes data management platform will connect with Roche's Accu-Chek SmartGuide CGM across select European markets, with the integration expected to roll out over the coming weeks. Notably, Glooko becomes the first platform outside of Roche's own ecosystem to link up with the Accu-Chek SmartGuide, giving clinicians and patients a way to view CGM data alongside information from other connected devices in a single place.
The Accu-Chek SmartGuide is an AI-powered CGM designed for adults with diabetes, featuring a 14-day wear time and predictive glucose insights that can look as far as two hours ahead. Roche has also integrated the Accu-Chek SmartGuide with its mySugr app, allowing users to sync their CGM data with the diabetes management platform for a more connected self-care experience. According to Glooko, pulling that data into one unified platform can ease the administrative load on care teams and support more informed conversations between patients and providers, particularly between clinic visits.
Availability will vary by country and is subject to local regulatory requirements.
