RenewRx is a platform focused on improving prenatal and diabetes care by closing the gap between patients and healthcare providers. The company was founded by CEO Kari Cao, PA-C, MHS, NFC, and Chief Success Officer Kelly Carter, BAS, CNP, NNCP. Both saw how traditional care models often leave patients overwhelmed and providers with limited time to help them. RenewRx combines technology with one-on-one coaching to make care more practical and personal for people managing gestational, type 1, or type 2 diabetes during pregnancy.
The platform includes a patient app and a medical provider dashboard. Patients can connect their wearables, track glucose levels, log meals with AI, and work with coaches through a “just one thing” approach that focuses on small, sustainable changes. Providers can view organized data, review coaching notes, and integrate information directly into medical records. The goal is to simplify care and strengthen the connection between patients and providers. RenewRx is currently available in five clinics across Colorado and has supported more than 400 patients.
