Tandem Diabetes Care has announced that its t:slim X2 insulin pump now integrates with Dexcom’s G7 15 Day continuous glucose monitor (CGM), marking a meaningful expansion of compatibility within the diabetes tech ecosystem. The update comes as users received emails today confirming the rollout, signaling that support for the extended-wear sensor is officially underway.

Dexcom’s G7 15-Day CGM, which launched in late 2025, is designed for adults ages 18 and older and builds on the original 10-day G7 platform. The newer version offers extended wear time and an updated and more accurate algorithm. The 15-day sensor also improves on accuracy from its predecessor, with MARD decreasing from 8.2% to 8.0%.
The t:slim X2 is known for its slim touchscreen design and Control-IQ+ technology, automatically adjusts insulin delivery based on CGM readings. It is currently compatible with the Dexcom G6, Dexcom G7 (10-day), and Libre 3 Plus, though Dexcom is discontinuing G6 production in July, making newer integrations like this one increasingly important for users planning their transition.
Looking ahead, Tandem is continuing to expand its ecosystem. The company is actively working to bring the 15 Day CGM to its Tandem Mobi system in the coming weeks, and working on a tubeless version of Mobi, and a tubeless-first pump called Sigi.
