Senseonics is partnering with Beta Bionics to integrate the Eversense 365 implantable continuous glucose monitor (CGM) with the iLet Bionic Pancreas automated insulin delivery (AID) system. The collaboration will combine Eversense 365’s year-long implantable glucose sensor with the iLet’s adaptive insulin delivery system.

Let’s explain BB’s unique abilities in two sentences - only one setting: weight…and non-traditional carb inputs- , which autonomously determines and delivers insulin doses without requiring traditional carbohydrate counting.

Eversense 365 uses a small sensor implanted under the skin, and a rechargeable transmitter placed above the skin, to send glucose readings to a smartphone every five minutes. The implantable sensor is currently compatible with the twiist AID system. Senseonics expects the new integration to be completed in Q4 of 2026, with a commercial launch planned afterward, pending testing, validation, and applicable regulatory requirements. The partnership follows Senseonics’ recent expansion into AID integrations and would expand CGM options to iLet’s user base. The iLet is currently compatible with the Dexcom G7 and Libre 3 Plus.

This news comes alongside the announcement that Beta Bionics’ first-ever patch pump, Mint, received FDA clearance and and is expected to launch commercially in Q1 of 2027. Other tubeless systems, including MiniMed Fit, Tandem’s tubeless Mobi, and Omnipod 6, are also slated to launch in 2027, setting up an impressive lineup of patch pumps to choose from in the new year.
