Libre 3 Plus is one of the most popular continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) on the market, but many users may not be taking full advantage of everything its newest app has to offer. Abbott’s standalone Libre app has a number of features designed to help users better understand glucose data, customize alerts, and learn how foods affect levels to make diabetes management a little easier.
The app also gives users more control over how they interact with their CGM data, from customizing alerts and using Silent Mode to logging meals, exercise, medications, and other events. That information can then be shared through LibreView, giving both users and their healthcare providers a more complete picture of what may be influencing glucose levels. With so many features tucked into the Libre ecosystem, there are many tools at our disposal.
Check out our video above where we walk through some of my favorite features, including the AI food analysis. You can take a picture of your food and AI can estimate the potential glucose impact. So cool! And if you want more information, check out my Libre 3 Plus review, as well as our comparison video between Libre 3 Plus and Dexcom G7.
