Tandem's t:slim X2 pump with Control-IQ+ is now compatible with Abbott's FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus in five more countries: the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, and Italy. Tandem says Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany are next, with availability expected sometime in 2026. It's a meaningful expansion for the pump, which previously integrated Dexcom's 15-Day G7 continuous glucose monitor and is now giving users in these markets another sensor option to pair with their system.

The t:slim X2 is a rechargeable insulin pump with a slim, sleek design and a color touchscreen that's easy to navigate, and it holds up to 300 units of insulin. Control-IQ+ is the hybrid closed loop algorithm that predicts glucose trends, adjusts your basal insulin every five minutes, and can deliver correction boluses on its own when needed. Pairing it with Libre 3 Plus brings Abbott's newest sensor into the mix, which transmits readings every minute, lasts up to 15 days on the body, and feeds real-time data straight to compatible devices.

Will you be switching to Libre 3 Plus, or sticking with your current CGM? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
