Tubeless is where each insulin pump company is targeting next. Right now Omnipod, Pivot and Medtrum are the only tubeless options available, but several major players are close behind. In the video above we dive into 7 new devices entering the tubeless pump market.

Tandem is leading the pack with two tubeless systems in development. The tubeless Mobi which is expected to be submitted with to the FDA for clearance this quarter, and Sigi, a semi-reusable pump that uses insulin cartridges for mid-wear refills.

Not far behind are Beta Bionics with its Mint patch pump expected to release next year, and MiniMed with its own patch design, MiniMed Fit, is headed to the FDA for clearance later this year.

And the current tubeless leader, Insulet, is working on its next generation pump Omnipod 6, which keeps its familiar form factor but adds stronger bluetooth, over-the-air updates, and a stronger algorithm.

And PharmaSens is working on an entirely new class: an all-in-one pump+CGM and has already partnered with Sibionics to implement its CGM technology into its device.

Watch the video above for the full rundown of tubeless pumps in the works. Which device are you most excited for? Let us know in the comments.
